No Way!

Welcome to the West Sacramento Repair Cafe

WSRC hosts a repair cafe on the last Saturday of most months where volunteers fix your broken household items for free!

Our mission is to reduce waste, decrease consumption and to teach community members how to repair their own items when desired/possible.

We also aim to advocate for “right to repair” legislation and to educate the public on smart buying and on the environmental impacts of our throw away culture.

On the last Saturday of the month (except in April and November) volunteers gather from 9 until noon at Holy Cross Parish at 1321 Anna St in West Sacramento to repair/advise how to repair:

  • Clothing
  • Bicycles
  • Small appliances/electronics
  • Jewelry
  • Computers/help with apps, etc
  • Knife/tool sharpening

Some months we offer sewing workshops in which participants can learn to make items such as snap bags and totes! Other special projects have included making bees wax wraps and building solar cookers!
